The DS team presented their outputs to the BrAPI community at the last day of the week-long BrAPI Hackathon at IRRI HQ, held from 02-06 June 2025.
The 2025 BrAPI Hackathon at IRRI focused on interoperability in breeding systems, with EBS teams leading discussions on analytics, genotypic data, and AI/ML integration.
At CGIAR Science Week in Nairobi, the B4T and BR teams connected with breeders, while EBS showcased its transformative role in accelerating data-driven breeding for food security.
The EBS Global User Support (GUS) team successfully concluded another Train-the-Trainer course especially conducted for breeders and researchers from the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
The 2-week online sessions held on 17-28 March 2025 were attended by 14 participants stationed in Morocco, Lebanon, and Nigeria. A deep dive on the powerful features in Core Breeding, Breeding Analytics, and Core System domains were covered through demonstrations and hands-on activities.
