Workflow Engine (WE)

Workflow Engine (WE) updates strengthen reliability and control by enabling secure shipment data updates, restoring accurate document generation, and ensuring smooth workflow progression—supporting compliant, end-to-end shipment processing without interruptions.

✅Controlled CSV Updates for CIMMYT Shipment Manager

Users can now:

  • Update shipment data safely using CSV uploads restricted to GHT Number, GH Reference Number, and Item Status.

  • Prevent accidental edits to protected shipment fields.

  • Rely on a secure and controlled update process that ensures data accuracy.

✅Accurate RSHT_NO Retrieval for IRRI Shipments

Users can now:

  • View correct RSHT_NO values pulled reliably for  packages from the Seed Attribute records. 

  • Access complete and consistent shipment information.

✅Correct SMTA_ID Generation for Shipment Documents

Users can now:

  • Generate legal documents with accurate SMTA_ID formatting.

  • Download the documents without permission errors.

  • Complete workflows without manual corrections.

Users can now:

  • Generate MLS legal documents without errors.

  • Proceed with automated and manual validation steps smoothly.

✅ITEMS Stage Workflow Restored (RICE-PROD)

Users can now:

  • Advance to the ITEMS stage without workflow failures.

  • Generate legal documents correctly in both PROD and DEMO.

  • Receive notifications and printouts as expected.

Batch Manager (BM)

Batch Manager (BM) updates improve accuracy and efficiency by ensuring correct sample and plate details, enabling editable batch descriptions, restoring reliable batch deletion, stabilizing file uploads, and maintaining proper plate ordering across workflows.

✅Accurate Sample and Plate Name Display

Users can now:

  • View correct sample and plate names consistently in the UI and exports.

  • Rely on accurate tooltips and sequencing.

✅Batch Description Field Added

Users can now:

  • Add custom Batch Descriptions during creation and editing.

  • Make batch records more meaningful and identifiable.

✅Batch Deletion Restored

Users can now:

  • Delete batches in Sample Management without errors.

  • Clean up old or unused entries efficiently.

✅Stable DArTag File Uploads

Users can now:

  • Upload DArTag files without index-related failures.

  • Continue processing confidently with stable file handling.

✅Correct Plate Ordering Restored

Users can now:

  • View plates in the correct logical sequence, aligned with creation order.

  • Work more confidently with accurately ordered plate data.

✅Editable Batch Descriptions

Users can now:

  • Edit descriptions directly on the grid view, improving batch management clarity.

Request Manager (RM)

Request Manager (RM) updates improve usability by clearly guiding reference genotyping setup, displaying required fields, and preventing unclear validation errors for a smoother request experience.

✅Reference Genotyping Setup Validation Improved

User can now:

  • Complete Reference Genotyping setup smoothly with required fields clearly shown.

  • Avoid unclear validation errors, as the system now opens mandatory modals automatically.

Service Management Platform (SMP)

Service Management Platform (SMP) updates improve clarity by displaying accurate, consistent version information and removing outdated labels across the system.

✅Clear and Consistent Version Display

User can now:

  • Rely on cleaner, accurate version information across the platform.

  • Use the View Version button with confidence—only valid CS and SM versions appear.

  • Avoid confusion from outdated or unsupported version labels removed from RM, GS, BM, CB, and BA.
