Upload randomization files for on-farm trials (OFT) using the RCBD and Unspecified designs.

Design file upload is now supported for Breeding Trial experiments that use the OFT stage. For now, the supported designs are RCBD and Unspecified. Take note that only one (1) parameter set can be present in each design file. Otherwise, the validation will fail.

Updated information on required columns when uploading RCBD (OFT) design.

The upload modal window provides users with a downloadable reference on each design’s minimum required columns to pass validation. The reference is improved to note that entry type and entry role are required columns for the RCBD (OFT) design.

Randomize with at least 2 test entries for RCBD (OFT) design.

Using the new design interface, users can now generate the randomization for RCBD (OFT) design with at least 2 test entries. Aside from this, part of the minimum requirement is 2 checks, where 1 is a local check. Previously, this design required at least 3 test entries.

The following actions can now be performed reliably in EC without issue:

1. copying experiments for users with permissions,

2. reflecting the Total Number of Entries, which correctly counts local checks, of a CIMMYT RCBD or CIMMYT Alpha Lattice design for non-sparse testing, and

3. updating entries, such that the correct number is reflected in the succeeding steps in EC.
