Data Collection (DC)

Data Collection (DC) updates improve data quality and integration by correctly tagging invalid values, ensuring consistent experiment imports, displaying accurate program and trait information, and strengthening BrAPI and Field Book synchronization for more reliable field data workflows.

✅Invalid Values Correctly Tagged

  • Non-float and incorrect values are now highlighted.

  • Data reviews in PDM are clearer and more accurate.

✅Consistent Experiment Imports

  • Only active fields and “Created” occurrences import into Field Book.

  • Inactive entries no longer appear, improving usability.

✅Programs Display Correctly

  • All programs load properly in the Field Book UI.

  • BrAPI program retrieval now accurate.

✅Correct Scale Descriptions

  • Scale descriptions import without “categorial = null.”

  • Trait displays are clearer across Field Book.

✅BrAPI v2 Server Info Available

  • New server info endpoint allows easier Field Book connection.

  • Setup and troubleshooting improved.

✅Improved API Compatibility

  • Standard {studyDbId} parameter increases syncing reliability.

✅Import Blocker Resolved

  • Occurrence data imports through BrAPI without errors.
