Uploaded entry number, type, and role in design files are now checked against the experiment entry list.

The file validation process is improved to ensure that entry information in uploaded design files match with those already defined in the Entry List tab. A note is displayed on the upload modal window to remind users of this condition.

Error messages will also be shown on the upload modal window when:

  1. the uploaded file contains additional columns that are not required for the design,

  2. the uploaded file does not contain the required column/s, and

  3. the uploaded file’s entry number sequence do not match with the one specified in the experiment.

Design file upload template now requires plot code instead of plot number.

To prevent data validation errors, the design file template now has the Plot Code column instead of the Plot Number. The updated templates are available for both sparse and non-sparse testing in the new design interface.

Bug Fixes

The following actions can now be performed reliably in EC without issue:

  1. upload of Alpha Lattice design file where the system correctly requires the Block No. information,

  2. proceed to the Site tab and expect the correct experiment status, and

  3. generate sparse testing with number of entries matching the specified NReps.
